We is seeking an experienced Chief Officer for a permanent position on their offshore jack-up vessels fleet.

Function description

We are currently searching for an experienced Chief Officer with strong offshore and jacking expertise to join an advanced jack-up vessel fleet. This permanent role offers an opportunity to advance your career within a global leader in marine construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Jacking Operations: Independently conduct jacking operations to ensure safe and precise positioning.
• Operational Management: Collaborate with the Captain and crew to ensure smooth and efficient offshore operations.
• Crew Leadership: Support crew management, promoting teamwork and readiness.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain Van Oord's high safety standards in all activities.
• Onboarding Support: Participate in an onboarding program to ensure a seamless start.

Requirements

• Chief Mate Certificate of Competency
• Dutch Endorsement
• Valid STCW certification for the position
• BOSIET/FOET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
• DPO Unlimited Certification
• Offshore Medical Certificate and MLC
• Relevant Offshore Experience (especially on jack-up vessels)
• Fluent English in word and writing
