The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and AtkinsRéalis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labour. This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power's CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
The Project Coordinator, reporting directly to the Area Manager, will play a key role in providing leadership in managing/supervising construction projects by assisting in the project management and coordination of schedules, manpower, customer relations, engineering, and procurement. Risk analysis: project forecasting, liaising with EPC and subcontractors are daily occurrences in these positions. The Project Coordinator directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering and construction requirements within the scope of a specified project.

This role will be based in Kincardine, ON.
Your role within the team:
- Responsible for the development and management of detailed plans such as preparation of Comprehensive Work Packages (CWPs), Construction Inspection Test Plans (CITPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Work Orders, Quality Forms, Safe Work Plans, Series Equipment List, Waste Minimization Management Plans and Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) Plans.
- Responsible for revising and maintaining accurate revision control of CWPs, CITPs and WIs following Project Quality procedures in the field during series execution.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders as required including engineering, construction, quality, subcontractors & customer to ensure that project documents are prepared with safety in mind in accordance with construction codes, standards and technical specifications.
- Read and analyze reactor install drawings, tool general assembly drawings as well as code and technical specifications documents related to the assigned projects.
- Aid with trade and quality staff training during training phase of the project.
- Oversee and coordinate execution of CWPs/CITPs at site and provide guidance to construction and quality team as required including leading problem-solving efforts and development of adverse condition recovery plans.
- Aid with retube tool testing, tool modifications, tool calibrations as well as tool commissioning.
- Aid with tool transition in and out planning.
- Coordinate with construction supervision, engineering, and quality control to determine efficiencies in series and implement appropriate solutions.
- Provide status and progress reports of project milestones and adjustments to schedules in support of the Area Manager and Construction.
- Work shift schedules to support critical path activities at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station (NGS) and directly support work during the execution phase.
- Track shift progress and log completion times, work completion status, tooling issues, tool status, and delays.
- Provide detailed shift reports that summarize key metrics and activities completed & distribute to stakeholders.
- Responsible for ensuring that all work is planned safely in compliance with safety, quality and human performance policies.
- Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- University Degree or College Diploma or related experience.
- Degree in Engineering considered an asset.
- 0-3 years' experience in industrial construction experience.
