Emerson T&M Product R&D is seeking a Project Manager who can handle a variety of tasks, including project management, system configuration, and programming. You will collaborate with the R&D organization and IT counterparts to maintain and configure tools essential to support our company's leadership teams, key initiatives, and perform analytics on resource management and accurate financial data. You will work with a team based in Austin, TX, supporting large-scale software tools such as Planview, Oracle, and more.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Configure various systems, such as Planview progressing engine.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues.
- Gain a deep understanding of business strategies, processes, and operations and the resulting data.
- Extract, transform and analyze large sets of data.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- English language competency and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Python or other data manipulation tools.
- Experience with SQL; demonstrated knowledge of relational databases.
- Experience with project management, including creating project plans and managing project achievements.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting and data transformation.
- Demonstrable ability to work with and analyze large disparate data sets using statistical and data mining techniques.
- Able to transform business ideas into processes and/or projects.
- Experience working on an Agile team is a plus.
- Candidates with Power BI or Planview Portfolios experience will stand out.
