Emerson is looking for a skilled and passionate Team Leader based in Cluj Napoca, to drive this Big Data initiative forward.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Leading a team of developers and test engineers to deliver end-to-end features and applications as part of Emerson's new big data solution.
• Managing the development of complex user interfaces, data processing workflows, and implementing advanced statistical algorithms to enhance data analytics capabilities.
• Collaborating closely with product managers and collaborators to deliver scalable, high-quality software tailored for Big Data challenges.
• Maintaining a strong focus on data processing efficiency, scalability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Driving Agile development processes and implementing best methodologies to boost productivity and team collaboration.
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:

• At least 3 years of management experience in Agile development environments, with a strong focus on building and deploying data-centric solutions.
• Extensive experience in application development using .NET C#, including hands-on work with data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, with a proven understanding of SOLID principles and domain-driven design.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, ideally with enterprise systems that require significant data processing capabilities.
• Experience with advanced Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems, ensuring continuous integration and smooth delivery of data-driven applications.
• A Bachelor Science degree or equivalent experience, Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience working with relational databases like SQL or Vertica, especially for managing large datasets.
• Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) for data indexing, visualization, and analysis.
• Experience with front-end development using Angular to create intuitive user interfaces for data-driven applications.
