- Use heavy tools to assemble dies, including hammers, impacts and large wrenches.
- Utilize blueprints to assemble tooling.
- Use tape measures to verify dimensions during the assembly process.
- Tear apart tools after use in the press systems.
- Load and off-load tooling from preheaters.
- Move tooling to designated areas as needed, via forklifts and other manipulators.
- Use overhead gantry-style crane for moving dies.
- Ensure tools or dies are not damaged in the assembly process.
- Follow company and OSHA safety procedures and bring any violations to the attention of the management team.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or need repairs to manager.
- Keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management
