JOB TITLE: Plant Services Technician
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Plant Services Manager
SCHEDULE: Nights - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday e/o Saturday
OR M, Tu, Fri, Sat first week then Sun, W, Th 6am-6pm
SUMMARY:
Co-generation power plant equipment operator. Maintains performance by monitoring operation of generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, blowers, fans, valves, and filters. Verifying requirements: Capable of adjusting controls; identifying and solving functional problems. Trouble shoots and repairs all steam, water, air and natural gas services required for Production lines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Sets and verifies control systems by programming software; adjusting sensors; conducting tests
- Maintains equipment by conducting inspections; completing preventive maintenance requirements; identifying and repairing malfunctions; maintaining supplies
- Documents equipment results by completing logs and records; filing automatic recordings
- Plumbing repairs as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- The ability to read and interpret complex documentations
- Stationary Engineering degree or 5years' experience in a Power Plant or on a merchant vessel
Fireman's license a plus Good Mechanical Aptitude a must
REQUIRED TRAINING:
- Lock-out/Tag-out
- Basic hazardous communication
- PPE
- On the job safety review

- Frequent upper extremity use
