Your role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition Process Automation, this role will lead a team of talent professionals, partnering with business and HR leaders to provide technical expertise, develop solutions, and attract, develop, and retain a workforce capable of executing the business strategy. The Talent Acquisition Lead will support the growth of HR Expert Services within Norway and implement the Global Talent Function strategy to address talent challenges. Key Responsibilities: Leadership of Talent Team: Lead a team of Talent Partners responsible for managing requisitions and placements annually, ranging from senior managers to individual contributors. Full Lifecycle Talent Management: Oversee the talent process for all positions, handling both internal and external candidates through the complete end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing for all levels of roles. Personal Management of Requisitions: Directly manage a portfolio of requisitions and placements. Strategic Support: Support Business Areas, Division, and Corporate functions in Norway with recruitment strategy, critical priorities, and adherence to compliance standards. Main Accountabilities: Business and Talent Strategy: Implement global talent strategies in Norway, collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and line managers to address short-, mid-, and long-term business needs and talent challenges. Leverage insights to inform future talent strategies and identify top internal and external talent. Talent Management Advocacy: Promote internal team capabilities, champion talent initiatives within the organization, and provide guidance, operational support, and performance feedback to talent partners. Talent Acquisition: Drive talent acquisition processes, including supporting recruitment post-position approval. Source talent from both internal and external pools, manage recruitment campaigns, collaborate with hiring managers, and determine appropriate sourcing solutions. Utilize data to set realistic expectations with hiring managers regarding the labor market and recruitment processes. Oversee job postings, candidate shortlists, interviews, assessments, and offer negotiations in collaboration with hiring managers. Partner with the GBS team to ensure smooth administration and coordination (e.g., job postings, scheduling, job offer processing). Third-Party Management: Manage relationships with recruitment firms for specific roles, ensuring they are well-briefed and meeting recruitment needs. Local Talent Expertise: Actively contribute to the global Talent Acquisition and Talent Advancement community by sharing local insights with business and HR leaders about the talent market. Employer Branding: Support and drive employer branding activities, including university relationships, early talent and trainee programs, and other local and online initiatives to strengthen ABB's employer brand. Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to talent practices, processes, and policies. Contribute to the development and implementation of new talent solutions, both globally and locally. Advocate for and support changes to system functionality and upgrades related to talent processes. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local legislation, HR policies, GDPR, data privacy standards, and OHS requirements. Provide training and engagement opportunities to ensure regulatory adherence and address compliance concerns as they arise. Data Management and Reporting: Support timely data analytics and reporting to manage the candidate pipeline and other recruitment metrics effectively.

Qualifications for the role
- To be successful in this role, you bring a Bachelor's or Master's degree along with relevant professional HR experience acquired in a high-performing global organization or an RPO (or similar) company. You possess demonstrated expertise in full lifecycle recruiting, including developing job briefs, creating sourcing and marketing plans, conducting candidate outreach and development, as well as managing offers and closing.
- You will be responsible for leading and managing a team, with a proven track record of at least two years managing direct reports. You have demonstrated success employing diverse recruiting strategies and techniques, combined with a strong focus on end-to-end process thinking and experience in managing change projects.
- Your knowledge of various recruitment platforms and your ability to effectively leverage these tools for sourcing candidates and managing professional relationships will be key in this role. You are adept at working across cultures and engaging with multi-functional stakeholders, and you bring the capability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders globally.
- Exceptional communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to consult and influence effectively are essential. You thrive on building strong relationships, fostering collaboration, and bringing great team spirit to work effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders. Fluency in both written and verbal English and Norwegian is required.
