About the Role
As a Lead Structural Engineer your role will be dedicated to a broad range of onshore/offshore projects with Tier-1 clients. This hands-on role will see you leading a small team of engineers and designers located in Perth and within our multi-centre engineering offices along with doing the work.

About the Role
As a Lead Structural Engineer your role will be dedicated to a broad range of onshore/offshore projects with Tier-1 clients. This hands-on role will see you leading a small team of engineers and designers located in Perth and within our multi-centre engineering offices along with doing the work.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking the role of project lead structural engineer for your assigned scope.
- Supervising structural engineers and designers as defined by project organisation chart.
- Developing and maintaining a schedule for assigned work scope and deliver the scope on time and on budget.
- Attending meetings with Clients, Vendors or Consultants
- Interfacing with other engineering disciplines as required during project execution and working closely with the Structural Designers to deliver required drawings.
- Assisting in defining the resources requirement for both drafting and structural engineering on your assigned scope.
- Performing hands on structural design and developing associated engineering deliverables
- About 12-15 years experience in structural design of Oil & Gas projects, including significant experience with Fitness for Service of offshore structures design and brownfields modifications to offshore structures.
- Experience in leading a team of engineers and designers.
- Hands-on capabilities to do the calculations and proposing solutions to the team.
- Expert in checking a wide range of technical deliverables including, analyses, calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Essential software experience: SACS, Mathcad, AutoCAD/BrisCAD.
- Preferred software experience: Sesam/GeniE, USFOS, Navisworks, Coding and FEA analysis.
- Expert written English for technical report preparation.
- Commercial awareness and management of change.
