JOB PURPOSE
The jobholder is responsible to lead a team of Reliability Engineers for the Condition monitoring discipline as part of the Operations Support function, ensuring rotating equipment healthiness and achieving the highest standard of Equipment Reliability, Defect Elimination, while applying the best practices in the industry, and standardisation of maintenance systems across the site.
As a discipline expert supports the Senior Engineers to identify best condition monitoring strategies and deliver innovative technical solutions by using internationally acclaimed tools including APMS (Meridium) system, RCM method and use RCA for proper identification of root cause of plant problems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Condition Monitoring Program
- Develop and implement a site-wide integrated condition monitoring program to ensure rotating equipment, health monitoring and assessment, aligning with Borouge's operational goals.
- Use on-line/off-line MCM systems for vibration analysis to perform troubleshooting, enhancing equipment reliability.
- Implement new monitoring technologies to improve diagnostic skills, supporting innovation within Borouge.
- Initiate timely CM recommendations to avoid unexpected failures, minimizing maintenance costs and production losses.
- Lead and support plant Reliability Engineers in root-cause failure analysis to identify corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in Reliability improvement programs to optimize software database configuration, enhancing machinery protection.
Field Maintenance and Problem Solving
- Follow-up and provide advice during field maintenance jobs to solve major failures, enhancing equipment reliability.
- Analyze strengths and weaknesses of CM approaches to develop new solutions, improving reliability standards.
- Identify statutory requirements and make procedures to comply, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Participate in internal/external audits to prepare a plan to close audit points, maintaining high standards.
- Provide inputs for budget preparation to monitor variance, controlling maintenance costs.
- Keep abreast of updates for Health, Safety, Environment, and Risk Registers, ensuring safe operations.
Safety and Risk Management
- Promote and communicate safety-related updates to co-workers, fostering a culture of safety.
- Lead by example in safety communications, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Contribute to providing timely feedback and recommendations to ensure a risk-free environment.
- Develop and implement safety procedures to comply with regulations, ensuring safe workplace practices.

- Provide technical support during maintenance activities to resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues, preventing failures.
- Develop troubleshooting procedures to standardize practices, ensuring consistency.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address complex issues, ensuring effective problem-solving.
Reliability Improvement
- Participate in Reliability improvement programs to optimize equipment performance, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Support plant Reliability Engineers in identifying corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement reliability strategies to enhance equipment performance, supporting Borouge's goals.
- Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends, preventing recurring issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop reliability improvement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of reliability improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
Compliance
- Identify statutory requirements and develop procedures to comply, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Participate in internal/external audits to prepare a plan to close audit points, maintaining high standards.
- Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations, supporting Borouge's business.
- Conduct compliance audits to identify potential issues, ensuring regulatory adherence.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance requirements, ensuring awareness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance concerns, ensuring a compliant working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Fluency in English Language; written and oral
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in oil/gas or petrochemical industry / CM company
- Working experience of latest PC based On-Line & Periodic Condition Monitoring systems (Instruments & Software) from Bently Nevada / CSI / SKF
- Expert in condition monitoring of high-speed rotating equipment's and maintenance strategies, repairs, diagnostics, and fault analysis.
Professional Certifications
- Certification in vibration analysis / machinery diagnostics will be an added advantage. Knowledge of CMMS is required.
