  • Class 1 Material Handler

    As a Class 1 Material Handler here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be essential in maintaining a smooth workflow and preventing any accidents or damage to the materials. You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and you'll work out of our St. Louis, MO location work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations. By accurately and efficiently handling materials, you will contribute to meeting production schedules and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively with the team will be crucial in maintaining a high level of productivity.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials • Accurately pick and pack materials according to work orders and shipping instructions • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials • Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in the warehouse • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

  • YOU MUST HAVE
    • Valid Class 1 forklift operator certification
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Good communication skills
