Job Description
In the field of industrial gases, a key parameter is the purity of the gas. Therefore, Air Products has now decades of experience in the field of gas purification and separation. In order to support our business, the Saudi Technology Center has a unique membrane testing facility to keep improving the quality of our solutions and keep exploring new opportunities.
In this project, the incumbent will have to summarize the material used in our unit and assess the compatibility of the unit for future applications. The selected candidate will also provide guidance on the best available options and initiate the sourcing. The work will serve as basis to issue management of change of the existing unit. The student will also be part of the operation of the testing unit and will have the opportunity to learn on membrane separation theory by learning on the job.
On top of the main project and depending on the student interest, it is possible to be involved in other type of laboratory activities such as adsorbent characterization or failure analysis.

- Familiarity with metal properties and mechanical test.
- Membrane processes.
- Adsorption.
