Votre mission
SPIE Global Services Energy is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement activities for a major project in Lagos, Nigeria.
As a Procurement Manager, you'll be a key player in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the success of our project. You'll manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency. Here's what you'll do:
1. Procurement Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement plan aligned with project goals and timelines.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability.
2. Vendor Management
Source, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Contract Management
Negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Monitor and manage contract performance, addressing any deviations or disputes proactively.
4. Supply Chain Oversight
Oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the project site.
Anticipate potential bottlenecks and develop contingency plans to avoid delays.
5. Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Identify risks within the procurement process and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and budgets.
6. Continuous Improvement
Analyze procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Use data-driven insights to optimize procurement performance and drive efficiency.
Votre profil
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in procurement of electrical and instrumentation equipment, preferably in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
Proven track record of managing procurement for large-scale, complex projects, ideally in offshore or FPSO environments.
