As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise in machining processes and attention to detail will ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards. You will work closely with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations, contributing to the success of our business unit.

- Operate and maintain various machining equipment, such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper operation and accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
WE VALUE
- 1 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Technical degree or certification in machining or a related field.
- Experience with CNC machining.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
