TotalEnergies Marketing PNG is the downstream subsidiary of Papua New Guinea, a 100% subsidiary of TotalEnergies. It is involved in energy distribution activities such as the sale of fuel, fuel cards, lubricants and solar panels to B2B customers, and the operation of a network of service stations including stores, car washes and oil change bays for B2C and B2B customers. PNG is a country of 13 million inhabitants where TotalEnergies is looking to expand. It has an exploration subsidiary with around 100 employees working on 2 major PNG projects. The country is subject to a high level of criminality, which the subsidiary is taking preventive measures against.
Reporting to the VP Sales, N-2 to the Managing Director, the mission is to be a support/back-up to the VP Sales & Marketing and provide technical, marketing and analytical support to the sales and marketing department, prepare market and profitability studies for B2B and B2C projects/customers, generate accurate data on which to base sales decisions, ensure the smooth running of credit management and transversally control and manage a small team.
As a Sales & Marketing Officer, your main missions will be as follows :
- Provide monthly sales volumes for all customers, indicating budget vs. actual, and provide explanations for variances by M+3 ;
- Ensure weekly monitoring of sales and corresponding gross margin on variable costs (GMVC) for all customers ;
- Implement accurate and timely pricing for all products, i.e. fuels, lubricants, car care products, solar energy, etc ;
- Participate in station project studies and compile detailed investment case ;
- Provide project updates and budget liquidation ;
- Coordinate the compilation of LTP figures for sales and marketing activities ;
- Update annually the network segmentation file and monitor the implementation of actions arising from the exercise and to be integrated into the LTP, where appropriate ;
- Prepare economic files for commercial/customer projects before contracts are signed ;
- Design and coordinate B2B customer feedback with the zone ;
- Compile Salsa operation KPIs for sales team (Retail and B2B) ;
- Maintain records of all customer contracts for the affiliate (Commercial/Retail/Lubes) ;
- Provide management with monthly and quarterly updates of the Variable Compensation System (VCS) for the sales team ;
- Initiate and conduct market research on products and services ;
- Monitor communication budget spend ;
- Analyze and reconcile fuel card usage for sales team against CRM KPIs.

Expected qualifications:
Important: the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in alignment with role he/she will perform as a VIE (visa requirements)

Candidate Profile

- Master degree from Business School, University or Engineering School with a specialization in Business/Strategy or Management
Important: the candidate must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in alignment with role he/she will perform as a VIE (visa requirements)
Technical skills :
- 1st experience and strong knowledge in financial analysis, marketing, project management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Organisation and priority management
- Autonomous
Computing skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Languages:
- English: level C1/C2 (Working language in PNG)
- French: level B2
