Controlling & Planning Process Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes. The work model for the role is: #L-Hybrid This role is contributing to the ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholders. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting the analysis of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions. • Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB. • Working with management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identifying market trends. • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made. • Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications for the role

• Background: Accountant
• English: intermediate - advanced
• +4 years of experience in provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
• Knowledge in Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
• Partner directly with the finance team and central FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
• Experience in Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights and Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
• Experience with advanced Excel
