This position reports to

Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead local operations with accountability for day-to-day execution, exceeding customer expectations through efficient operational performance. Each day, you will drive lean and faultless operations across the extended value chain, optimizing cost and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by creating, implementing, and reviewing the operations strategy for the designated area, based on strategy. The work model for the role is Remote You will be mainly accountable for: • Improves service availability and quality, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction. • Develops and reviews field service operations strategy aligned with global business goals. • Drives continuous improvement in field service quality and customer satisfaction. • Manages field service performance through KPIs and corrective actions. • Identifies and implements opportunities for customer operations improvement. • Ensures effective resource planning, allocation, and compliance with safety guidelines. • Manages and develops field service teams, ensuring training and certification. • Promotes Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and compliance. • Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and team-oriented mindset. • Requires up to 50% travel.

Qualifications for the role

  • At least 8 years of experience in leading field teams, working as a site manager or in construction management within the Data Center construction industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Data Center Start-up and Commissioning strategies, field service personnel development and the electrical industry within the Data Center market.
  • Knowledge of MS suite of products including MS Project, Google suite of products (Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides), SAP, and project issue resolution software (BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, Procore, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both external customers, vendors and other partners, as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Technical understanding of power delivery equipment: transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, etc.
  • Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.
  • Maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping and assure compliance with all environmental regulations
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
