We have anopportunity for an Intern to join our Flight Recorders team at Honeywell, in Brno.You will become part of an organization developing innovative flight recorderstechnology (also known as Black Boxes).

Youwill have an opportunity to participate in airborne system development,allowing you to specialize in an exciting niche within the aerospaceengineering field and build up unique subject domain expertise (flightrecorders - cockpit voice recorders and flight data recorders), which in pasthelped to shape and improve safety of air traffic.

Inthis position you will be given an opportunity to grow your technical skills,interact with multiple different stakeholders (engineering, business teams,suppliers, customers, and other partners). In addition to daily technicaltasks, you will be encouraged to think out of the box and come up with newideas and or approaches how to grow our recorders business.

This role is part of our UniversityRelations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch theircareers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growthwithin Honeywell.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers (airlines) on a regular basis, deliver Recorders services (transcription, inspection) and translate customer requirements into system specifications.
• Participate in development of recorders data maps for different aircraft platforms (single isle as well as wide body), system requirements development and verification
• Participate in service offerings, prepare proposals.
• Work with development team to implement new features in our Recorders Services offering.

Key skills and qualifications

• Student on a university degree with major in Electrical, Software and/or Aerospace engineering.
• Knowledge of ARINC429, ARINC717, ARINC767 or similar
• Exposure to systems design real time system & software coding, scripting
• Strong communication skillset, independent and fast learner, strong team player with a proactive mindset.
• Very good level of English language (B2 as a minimum).
