We are seeking a Solar Production Project Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the seamless execution and completion of solar projects, focusing on managing permits, documentation, CRM updates, and utility coordination. This role is integral to the seamless execution and completion of solar projects, focusing on managing permits, documentation, CRM updates, and utility coordination. Your organizational skills and proactive approach will ensure project efficiency and compliance, contributing to the success of our renewable energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Permit Coordination:
- Prepare and submit permit packages, including contractor license registrations.
- Monitor permit expiration and manage extensions.
- Schedule inspections and maintain communication with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction).
- Documentation Management:
- Create, package, and deliver project job folders tailored to specific needs.
- Organize, compile, and deliver project closeout packages, ensuring timely completion.
- Utility Coordination:
- Handle utility interconnections and shutdown processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and utility companies to avoid disruptions.
- CRM Updates:
- Complete CRM closeout processes with accuracy and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Internal Communication Support:
- Set up and maintain project communication channels, ensuring all teams are informed.
- Payment Applications:
- Prepare payment application documentation to assist with permitting processes.
- Warranty Documentation:
- Process overburden waivers and ensure continuous warranty coverage post-project completion.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role or related field.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Teams) and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Work Environment:
- Safe and professional adherence to OSHA and regulatory requirements.
- Comfortable working in a dog-friendly office setting.
