Elevate Your Career in Mechanical and Piping Supervisor with Airswift

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Piping Supervisor to join our team for a contract position in Paris, France. This is a full-time role with a duration of 12 months, working on a major project for a French industrial group with an international reach.
Role Overview

• Manage the assembly activities of pressure vessels, water towers, and skids during the construction and pre-commissioning phase of the project.
• Supervise and coordinate construction subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and construction documentation.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and provide feedback using technical expertise.
• Coordinate resolution of technical issues and questions.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all construction and installation work meets contract requirements.
• Provide progress reports on quantities, milestones, and cost projections.
• Review progress measures and validate additional work.
• Coordinate with other site supervisors and manage interfaces between disciplines.
• Monitor performance of subcontractors and take corrective action on non-conformities.
• Ensure all aspects of pressure vessel, water tower, and piping installation are in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical background with at least 10 years of successful experience as a Piping Supervisor in the installation of industrial equipment and piping.
• Specific experience mandatory in oxygen and hydrogen service piping.
• Mechanical assembly skills.
• Industrial piping skills.
• Team supervision skills.
• Experience with ASME B31.3 preferred.
• Demonstrated technical experience and leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and with honesty and integrity.
• Fluency in English.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Certification in ASME B31.3 or relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Piping Supervisor in industrial equipment and piping installation.
