If you are a Production Planning professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Mansfield, MA location, you will be part of a team that produces valves for nuclear power plants, aircraft carriers and submarines. At Emerson Mansfield you will be visible, you will know the names of your coworkers and your contribution can "move the needle".

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Be responsible for all planning functions and activities to support the product line from scheduling sales orders to shipment of product including shop floor movement.
  • Evaluate and execute all material requirement plans by using the ERP system to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide, coordinate, and execute monthly shipment targets while ensuring customer on-time delivery and quality.
  • Develop and improve planning techniques and processes to minimize inventory levels, improve cash flow and maximize efficiencies.
  • Work with the Value Stream to provide order status, order details, and any recovery plans required to support customer needs.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High School degree
  • 3 years planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read manufacturing prints
  • Proficiency with excel
  • Proficiency with ERP or MRP Systems
  • Strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering is preferred
  • 5 years related work experience ideally with engineered products
  • Background in Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis
  • Effective communicator who is persuasive and good at presenting information.
  • Experience with Oracle
