The Workface Planner, Electrical & Instrumentation is responsible for overseeing the planning & advanced work packaging processes and functions for one of major capital projects, with a particular focus electrical & instrumentation systems construction and commissioning activities.

The Workface Planner, Electrical & Instrumentation is responsible for overseeing the planning & advanced work packaging processes and functions for one of major capital projects, with a particular focus electrical & instrumentation systems construction and commissioning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed planning of electrical cable & termination, transformer setting & dress-out activities, e-house integration & testing, and instrument & tubing installation & calibration activities.
- Performing quantity takeoffs and monitoring/reporting progress.
- Identifying and mitigating constraints at the work front.
- Development, implementation, maintenance, and oversight of planning & work packaging processes and procedures.
- Development and quantification of construction and commissioning performance targets.
- Development and maintenance of internal company plans & schedules.
- Contribute to reviews of Contractor execution plans & schedules.
- Provide oversight and leadership to Contractor Advanced Work Packaging teams.
- Audit construction completions processes and participate in driving Inspection & Test Record documentation completion.
- Set up and maintain reporting and dashboard templates for consistent communication.
- Present and effectively communicate plan & schedule information internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain graphical summary depictions of execution plan.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but field work experience could substitute.
- 5 years of relevant mechanical construction and pipe installation experience in major Oil & Gas engineering and construction projects.
- Experience with Advanced Work Packaging processes.
- Proficient in NavisWorks or other 3D modeling and work packaging software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL or similar relational database management systems preferred.
