What are you going to do
- Job Title: Mechanical Piping Inspector
- Location: Corpus Christi, TX (100% on-site)
- Schedule: 5/50
- Work Type: W2 contract
- Duration: 1 year with potential for renewal
- Pay Rate: Hourly with 1.5x OT
- Per Diem: Per diem is offered for candidates who meet the distance requirements, but local talent will be prioritized first.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveillance and inspections of mechanical piping systems, pressure vessels, and pumps to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee quality control for new construction projects and verify installation integrity.
- Collaborate with contractors and project teams to address any quality-related issues.
- Monitor and document inspection activities, ensuring all work aligns with applicable codes and standards.
Essential skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical piping inspection.
- Familiarity with QA/QC surveillance processes and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of pressure vessels, pumps, and piping systems.
- Experience with new construction and project-based work is required.
- LNG project experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with both owner and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects is highly desirable.
