CORPORATE SUMMARY

Salt Creek Midstream (SCM) is a greenfield midstream company built to provide a full suite of midstream services and downstream solutions to producers in the Delaware Basin. SCM leverages fundamental and intra-basin knowledge to optimize the value of producer resources, reduce bottlenecks and deliver higher netbacks to the producer.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Pipeline Operator is responsible for measuring the accuracy and reliability of the Facility's safe, effective, and efficient performance. Reports to the Gas Operations Manager. Directly supervises seven employees in the gas operations department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs line sizing and pressure drop calculations for line upgrades/repairs and/or new gas connects.
• Provides cost estimates for line upgrades/repairs and/or new gas connects.
• Maintains accurate records of mechanical equipment, repair history, preventive & predictive maintenance performed by utilizing the eMaintenance preventative maintenance program.
• Utilizes GIS pipeline system for leak tracking where available.
• Develops knowledge of our client's Engineering Standards and Specifications and demonstrates the ability to apply them in pipe fitting and construction practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Supervises and directs work assignments and scheduling of Gas Pipeline Operations Crew.
• Lead commissioning efforts on new equipment startups. Responsible for managing PSSR documentation and follow ups.
• Responsible for high level reporting of daily issues, production status, and pending commissioning.
• Responsible for coordinating contract work for pipeline maintenance activities to include pigging, proving, ROW maintenance, and pipeline maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Other skills required:

o Knowledge and understanding of repair techniques for line leaks, i.e., clamps and buddy systems.

o Knowledge and understanding of pipeline operations, including purging, draining, and pigging procedures.

o Knowledge and understanding of hot tie-ins and hot tapping procedures.

o Understanding of gas pipeline systems.

o Knowledge of DOT regulations as applied to pipelines is a plus.

o Must have a mechanical aptitude.

o Strong Computer skills - Excel, Word, E-Mail.
