Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will plan and perform a variety of analytical and associated duties involving such functions as planning, construction, maintenance and inventory control, typically related to complex or large-scale facilities and equipment. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-Onsite Relocation assistance not eligible for this role. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Bartlesville, OK. We are unable to sponsor an employment visa at this time for this role. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop production schedules establishing sequence and timeframe of manufacturing operations in order to meet production requirements as well as schedules the procurement of raw materials to meet forecasted and customer orders for given products. review of customer orders, plant capacity, and inventory before establishing schedules • Review of customer orders, plant capacity, and inventory before establishing schedules • Routine tasks such as monthly reports and data maintenance will be necessary • Routine interfacing with management, forecasting, project engineers, procurement and manufacturing. • Inventory control and work in process as well as measuring progress by established standards of performance. • Recognizes and brings attention to problems affecting production including schedules, quality, and order of production line. • Assists in resolving production conflicts by interfacing with management and assemblers • Management of larger orders on a project level working with project engineers on custom builds, custom buys, custom software as well as manufactured units. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field preferred
- 5+ years' experience with manufacturing processes, inventory management, and/or material requirements planning (MRP).
- Understanding of manufacturing and related processes and equipment in order to effectively analyze and resolve problems.
- Technical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment of electronics technology products would be beneficial
- Experience with manufacturing processes, inventory management, and/or material requirements planning (MRP).
- Familiar with KANBAN, APICS a plus
- Advanced Excel skills using pivot tables
