JOB DESCRIPTION

Description

• Work & stay on site during your 14/7 hitch or longer.
• Operate and maintain NOV solids control equipment including Centrifuges, Shakers, Vertical dryer & Pumps on a Rig location.
• Operate excavator to load trucks with drilled cuttings.
• Documentation of all daily activity at worksite on daily report and assure everyone is informed on rig location as well as support facilities/offices if any work scope changes, HSE concerns, etc.
• Travel to and from the rig location including West, Texas, & Colorado when needed.
• Understand all NOV and customer HSE requirements and Safe Work practices.
• Participate in Safety meetings & NOV Observation Program.

Qualifications

• Experience with operation and maintenance of Solids Control/Waste Management equipment or heavy equipment, and oilfield work.
• Must be State Side / US Citizen
• Must be able to Pass Drug & Background Check.
• Must provide valid ID
• High School education or equivalent required
• Ability to work away from home long periods at a time.
• Able to work 12 or more hours a day on a land drilling rig.
• Good communication, Promptness, Self-Reliant /Goal Oriented
• Flexibility and means to travel and work in other districts for extended periods of time
• Basic Computer Literacy skills for completing daily reports (Windows, IOS, Excel)

• Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including Laptop computer, Track hoe, forklift, shovels, & hand tools.
• Posture: Prolonged standing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
• Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent walking up/down steps ; occasional reaching
• Lifting: Occasional heavy lifting and carrying (less than 50 pounds)
• Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours in different weather environments (Heat, Cold, Rain, etc.)
• Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress
