As a Mechanical Design Manager you will oversee and support a talented team based in Karlstad, Sweden. Take charge by resolving technical challenges, delivering creative solutions, and presenting impactful alternatives to our clients. You will build strong relationships with clients, representing our commitment to engineering excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a performing team through training, recruiting, and regular performance reviews.
• Optimize team resources and ensure alignment with project needs and timelines.

• Develop efficient design methods and ensure solutions are cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant with regulations.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and refine engineering plans to meet objectives and budgets.
• Work closely with the sales team to prepare estimations and offerings to maintain and develop Cyients clients.

• Lead the team to resolve technical issues and deliver project milestones efficiently.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Preferably 10 years of experience from relevant industries and multidisciplinary plant engineering projects, and experience from a Managerial role.
• Good communication skills: Fluent in English and Swedish.
