Join our team as a Compressor Operator and contribute to the success of a major oil and gas company in Midland, Texas!

Role Overview

• Learn daily gas compressor and compressor facility operations while maintaining good housekeeping.
• Handle on call duties and drive company vehicle to locations.
• Work in a learning mode and develop skills in identifying, diagnosing, and repairing/replacing equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date reporting of facility operations and ensure compliance with JBPE requirements.
• Collaborate with Foremen, Compressor Operators, Mechanics, and Lease Operators on a daily basis.
• Occasionally work side-by-side with contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, including special projects.
• Utilize technological tools and processes to increase efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with compressors, compressor & vacuum equipment, and compressor/pumping stations.
• Mechanical or oilfield related experience required - 2.5 years preferred.
• Basic trouble shooting, mechanical experience, and/or oil field experience.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Prior experience with compressor gas lift operations preferred.
• A current valid vehicle operator's license with an insurable driving record is required.
