This position reports to
Procurement & Logistics Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Master Schedule Planner positions offered by ABB Installation Products Inc. (an ABB company) (Jonesboro, AR). The Buyer/Planner plans and creates production schedule(s) for specific work centers based on actual demand and/or stock replenishment levels. Reviews raw and WIP material requirements and issues work orders and/or purchase orders to meet production schedules. This position will monitor finished goods warehouses preparing reports for recovery plans to improve backlog and fill rate. Regular and timely communication is required with Customer Service to provide material availability dates for shipments of finished goods from the plant to the warehouses. The Buyer/Planner will work with the suppliers to expedite and follow up with deliveries, resolve invoices and account holds, manage quality rejects and returns, and prepare custom documents and monitor transportation of material and equipment from Mexico.

Qualifications for the role
- Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Management/Logistics, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience performing production planning in a manufacturing facility including working with suppliers in Central America or South America. Also requires 3 years of experience: performing purchasing for a manufacturing facility; reviewing and analyzing quote packages from suppliers; and monitoring and documenting supplier's shipments across international borders. In lieu of a bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience as stated, employer will accept 5 years of work experience as stated. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
