Wood is currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters to join our team for an upcoming shutdown at the Athena Gas Plant in Port Campbell.

For this shutdown the dates required on site are from Tuesday 4th March - Friday 7th March.

The Role

The project is due to start in March and the successful candidates will be a qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter, preferably with oil and gas experience and will have the basic tools required to complete their allocated tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Understand and work to Permit System
• Maintain good conduct and work harmoniously with other employees using fundamental interpersonal skills required of the work setting
• Undertake maintenance and installation of plant and equipment
• Fitting and assembling of parts to plant and equipment
• Check the accuracy and quality of assembled equipment
• Conduct fault finding of mechanical equipment along with other maintenance tasks as required
