We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join a major offshore project. This role focuses on planning technical proposals and project execution.

Function description

As a Project Planner, you will play a key role in structuring and controlling project timelines to ensure smooth tender phase and execution. You will work closely with the tender and project teams, as well as consortium partners and subcontractors, to develop and maintain project schedules. Your responsibilities will include monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and advising on strategic planning solutions to optimize project delivery.

Candidates with experience in offshore construction, marine engineering, or heavy industry projects-such as pipeline installation, dredging, or seabed interventions-are encouraged to apply, as these skills can be beneficial in this role.

This position is initially for a specific project with a set duration, but there is potential for an extension (24.02.2025-30.06.2025).

• Maintaining, update and progress the contract planning, considering all aspects of the work like logic, resource planning, cash flows and uncertainties;
• Create transparency and overview with clear visuals;
• Advise project management on strategic direction for the project and provide "what if scenarios" to consider if the situation is asking for it;
• Deliver reliable progress reports during the project duration;
• Initiate and lead brainstorm and workshop type meetings like planning reviews and rehearsals of concept (ROC).

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in project planning, preferably in the offshore, oil & gas, or heavy industry sectors.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, TILOS, and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of project interfaces, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
• Based in South Holland, with the ability to work from the office at least three days per week.
• Freelance work is not an option for this role.
