Overview

A Shelf Mechanic is responsible for operating offshore production facilities, testing, calibrating, maintaining, and inspecting equipment, and troubleshooting various mechanical systems and components. Will be looking for specific background in Natural Gas CAT 3500/3600, WAK 42/44, White Superior, and turbine experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
  • Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Competencies in computer knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Subsea Equipment.
  • Organization skills to maintain the platform.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills in a team environment.
  • Safety-oriented.
  • Ability to create policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboats.
  • Technical mechanical skills.
