JOB DUTIES:
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB DUTIES:
- Interpret results from inspections and communicate these findings effectively and appropriately to production personnel.
- Record the number of tubes inspected and specific non-conformances by categories for daily reporting purposes.
- Accurately read and interpret product drawings to determine acceptance criteria.
- Accurately use measuring equipment (i.e., dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, etc.) and interpret results to determine product acceptance.
- Must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be able to use simple measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, etc.).
- Must be able to do extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment and or inspection is a plus.
- Experience with measuring equipment (i.e., dial calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, etc.)
- Basic computer skills required.
- Pass screening exam (math and reading comprehension) with a minimum score of 80% required.
- Pass an Industrial eye exam with near visual acuity
- Must be able to work in a non-climate control environment
