JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup and run extrusion lines.
• Cut and dispose of scrap liner.
• Prep production spools for usage.
• Operate liner take-up spool.
• Maintain water cooling systems used throughout the extrusion line.
• Use precision measuring equipment to measure the product and adjust tooling as needed.
• Perform visual and manual inspections of liner and record results.
• Spool finished liner onto take-up spools.
• Monitor machine quality and communicate mechanical and electrical problems to the maintenance department.
• Practice good housekeeping by maintaining a clean work area.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• 6 months minimum extrusion experience required.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork is necessary.
• Must be able to communicate clearly & concisely (written and verbal)
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Willing & Able to work in a factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
