PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Become familiar with and adhere to all NOV HSE policies and procedures
- Machine parts per prints and NOV specs
- Follow instructions from engineers and techs on part reworks
- Daily inspections of machines and equipment before use
- Maintain oil and fluid levels in machines
- Keep a clean and orderly work area
- Clean up shavings and maintain coolant levels
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 + Years previous machine operation experience or Trade School Certification.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Adheres to all HSE requirements
- Working hours to be identified by manager (Willing to work 2nd shift)
- Effective written and oral communication
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Proficient machining on CNC lathes and mills
- Able to read prints and machine accurate parts
- Able to use measuring tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Basic computer skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Will provide training for specific software utilized by NOV
