As a Sr. Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician hereat Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficientoperation of our industrial facility. You will be installing, repairing, andmaintaining complex industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting, ensuringequipment functions properly through preventative maintenance andtroubleshooting breakdowns by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, andpneumatic issues to minimize production downtime; tasks include inspectingequipment, adjusting calibrations, replacing parts, fabrication, and followingsafety protocols to maintain a clean and operational work area.
You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals tosupport the production process and contribute to the overall success of ouroperations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, fabricate and repairmechanical systems including but not limited to: air compressors, pumps,motors, boilers, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, air cylinders,switches, tanks, vessels, pipes and valves.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issuesbefore they cause disruptions.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and implement effective solutions tominimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operationof electrical systems.
• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints for bothfabrication and troubleshooting.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairactivities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe workingenvironment.
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc.("PIP®"), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, weanticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject tocustomary closing conditions. The intent of this role, dedicated to the PPEbusiness, will be part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws andregulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S.citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. underasylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an IndustrialMaintenance Technician with a strong background in mechanical system andfabrication.
• Experience working in a multi-craft industrialmanufacturing or similar environment with experience as an electrician, machinist,fabricator, pipefitter, welder, millwright, and or mechanic is required.
• Experience welding, cutting, grinding, using lathemachine, drill press, milling machine and other maintenance fabrication shopequipment is required.
WE VALUE
• Experience working on PLC programming andtroubleshooting would be a plus. (AllenBradley, HMIs.)
• Experience working as an electrician would be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to use CMMS to perform PMs and report on plantissues.
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification would be a plus.
• Other industrial Maintenance backgrounds would beconsidered as well.
• Associate's degree in industrial maintenance or anyother technical certificate
• Preferred Ten (10) years of experience as an IndustrialMaintenance Technician with a strong background in mechanical system andfabrication.
