As a Level 4 Inspector you will be provide QualityControl Inspection and support for Honeywell Aerospace's Auxiliary Power Units,Propulsion Engine and Turbo fan product lines. This will require performing overalland inspections of engines for airworthiness to include signing off on FAA's8130 tags.
You will partner with manufacturing teams and leaders toupdate inspection processes and ensure consistent execution to deliver productsthat comply with all FAA/ODA requirements. You will ensure that quality isbeing maintained in all factors involved in production.
This is an onsite position in our Phoenix, AZ plant.
Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday - Sunday
Key Responsibilities• Perform final inspectionson commercial/military hardware.
• Issue and/or familiar with 8130's and Certificate of Conformance
• Monitor and verify quality.
• Recommend improvements.
• Conform to specifications.
• Record observations.
• Audit quality control programs.
• Develop specs and procedures.
• Improve quality practices.
• Mentor lower level Inspectors on best practices and root cause analysis

YOU MUST HAVE
- Ability to pursue and maintain FAA/ODA Inspection certifications
- Proven ability to sign FAA Form 8130 tags and Certificates of Conformance
- Prior inspection experience in aerospace or an industry of similar complexity
- Ability to use power tools and highly competent with measurement devices commonly used in the inspector process.
WE VALUE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of labeling requirements
- Prior experience as a FAA aviation safety inspectors (ASI)
- Prior experience a Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR)
- Prior experience as Designated Airworthiness Representative for Manufacturing (DAR-F)
- Prior experience with an Air agency certificated under Part 145
- Prior work experience with Production Approval Holders (PAH) entity
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in quality control inspection field
- Good analytical and creative problem solving skill
- Possession or progress towards attaining an A & P License
