As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern here at Honeywell, you will play a crucialrole in optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence.You will support Manufacturing Engineers in developing and implementingefficient manufacturing processes, driving process improvements, and ensuringcompliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with cross-functionalteams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products.Your contributions will directly impact our organization's financialperformance and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.
You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you willwork out of our Mexicali location.
In this role, you will make an impact by supporting manufacturing processes,process improvements, and compliance with safety regulations. Yourcontributions will drive increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improvedproduct quality in our manufacturing operations and will be essential insecuring present and future business by consistently meeting or exceedingproduct cost and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboration and support in:
• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
• Drive process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency andproduct quality
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
• Support completion of First Article Inspections

• Currently studying bachelor's degree students inMechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering,Aerospace Engineering, Cybernetics, or a related field from an accreditedinstitution
• Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
• Fluent in English:Conversational, Read and Write
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• CAD systems proficiency
• Basic knowledge of automation, control, and PLC principles
• Programming and User Interface design preferred
