POSITION SUMMARY

The Service Operator (SO) works alongside Service Technicians (ST) 1 through 3 to install, operate, and dismantle equipment at customer locations. This role requires understanding FRAC components, including valves, Chiksan iron, and other job-specific materials. The SO will also assist in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance while following Supreme Services' safety and operational guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receives and follows oral and written instructions to complete projects.
  • Loads and unloads materials from pallets and baskets by hand or with lifting equipment.
  • Operates a forklift to stage and move FRAC iron and miscellaneous equipment throughout the facility.
  • Coordinates FRAC iron components from job return, to repair, to stock, and reassembly for subsequent job requirements.
  • Operates a pressure washer safely and in an environmentally conscious manner.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and distributes them to the proper staging area.
  • Travels to customers' locations by boat and/or helicopter to assist with equipment setup, job execution, troubleshooting, and breakdown upon job completion.
  • Maintains good housekeeping in the general work area as directed.
  • May be assigned to assist in other work areas as needed.
  • Performs simple adjustments and repairs to equipment within the work area.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participates in Safety and Quality programs.
  • Assists with additional job tasks as directed, including supporting team members and contributing to various work areas.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • The SO offshore position ranges from entry-level to experienced-level work. Employees with previous knowledge of offshore fracturing activities or equivalent experience are preferred. On-the-job training will be provided specific to company policies and procedures.
  • The SO must eventually demonstrate competency in the following areas:
    • Rigging up and rigging down job-specific equipment (e.g., valves, Chiksan iron, etc.).
    • Hydrostatically testing all FRAC-associated iron and Coflex hoses.
    • Completing a minimum of two jobs, with an ST-2 or higher mentoring and evaluating performance.
    • Performance evaluations will determine the level of competency.
    • Completion of the Core Employee Safety Orientation and other training outlined in the SSI Employee Training Matrix.
    • Possession of a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is preferred or the ability to obtain one successfully.
  • Effective November 1, 2021, all new offshore personnel are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
