ProductionAs a Sr. Demand Planner here at Honeywell,you will be accountable for managing demand and asset planning in amanufacturing environment for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT). You willplay a key role in driving demand and asset planning within our vibrantmanufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility is to ensure thedevelopment of a high-quality demand forecast critical for supply planning andfinancial forecasting. Your role is instrumental in meeting customerrequirements and aligning with operational business objectives.
The position reports to the Demand Planningorg supporting all AT SBUs. The Demand Planning team is responsible forcollecting data, collect forecast information from business leads and preparingforecast in support of the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process.Role is accountable for reviewing all demand streams and aggregating into asingle set of requirements, to review and provide input into an unconstraineddemand forecast to the integrated supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Improve forecast accuracy by implementing and leading processes tocollect data, analyze trends, and prepare forecasts, utilizing appropriateplanning tool in support of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)process.
• Identify and analyze Site Run Rates and Shipments, Month v Month, Year vYear, YTD trends, and aggregate into a single set of outputs.
• Conduct formal forecast reviews withGlobal Sales and Business to analyze, measure, and improve forecast accuracy.
• Document assumptions used and validate throughout SIOP process.
• Assure integration with SIOP process to compare the unconstrained demandforecast with aggregate supply constraints and understand the impact tocustomer and financial commitments (AOP).
• Ensure collaboration between the business and Demand Management tounderstand internal and external factors that may impact the forecast.
• Participate in CDP reviews in support of the SIOP Management OperationSystem (MOS) which includes aggregating the unconstrained demand forecast,comparing against AOP, and determining course of action to manage the gaps.
• Ability to drive SIOP vision and collaboration into the Site/ CBTextended team
• Strong bias for action-ability to make informed decisions in a complexenvironment and drive execution via indirect leadership.
• Strong collaboration within SBUs and functions Demand Mgmt., ISC,Finance and CBT's to ensure common tools & processes are implemented
• Develop collaborative processes to collect data, analyze trends, andcreate long term product line/Site forecasts.
YOU MUST HAVE• 3+years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chainexperience.
• Strongprocess orientation and experience in planning.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Strong system capabilities such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
WE VALUE• Bachelor'sdegree in business administration or supply chain/Logistics/Engineering.
• SAP, Rapid Response and Servigistics knowledge is highly desirable.
• Excellent teaming integration and collaboration skills.
• Ability to drive SIOP vision and collaboration into the Site/CBTextended team.
• Strong bias for action-ability to make informed decisions in a complexenvironment and drive execution via indirect leadership.
