What are you going to do

As an Auto Electrician and Light Vehicle Mechanic at Brunel Papua New Guinea, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and mechanical components of light vehicles/ surface mobile equipment in the remote gold mine site on a FIFO basis. Your duties will include diagnosing and fixing electrical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring that all vehicles are in safe and efficient working condition.

Essential skills and knowledge

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician or Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a FIFO capacity
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical components of light vehicles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote location
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Valid driver's license
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
