This position reports to
Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities
• Executes testing according to schedule, prepares project test documentation, and provides technical support during the installation of test objects. • Performs duties in compliance with quality procedures and policies, including regular quality testing as part of the production process. • Conducts incoming inspections on materials, electrical and mechanical parts, and equipment using engineering drawings, specifications, quality procedures, and purchase orders. • Issues Non-conformance reports for materials rejected during incoming inspection or identified during production/testing. • Releases nuclear orders and issues Certificates according to nuclear order procedures. • Conducts disassembly and assembly work to produce repaired, refurbished, or upgraded products, including packing, typically done manually or with light hand tools. • Suggests and supports the implementation of continuous improvement ideas. • Conducts shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's in electrical /Electro-Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Electro-mechanical engineering
- Knowledge about the operating mechanism of the Circuit Breaker, arc quenching phenomenon and basic interlocks required in the Circuit Breaker scheme
- Experience with reading and troubleshooting electrical schematics and control wiring.
- Knowledge of various Routine and Type tests performed on Circuit Breakers, Switchgears, NAL Switches, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with performing and troubleshooting Dielectric tests like HIPOT, Partial Discharge measurements & BIL Tests
- Knowledge and experience in performing continuous current tests - Heat Run Test
- Experience in CT, PT and Control Power Transformer testing.
- Knowledge of Technical and Test Report writing
- Basic knowledge of quality control and calibration process
- Practical Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems.
- Hands-on experience with simple measuring tools such as Caliper, angle gauge, measuring tape, etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge and use of MS Office
- Physical Requirements
- Able to do repetitive work.
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Stand or sit for extended periods of time.
