We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Expediter/Inspector for Rotating Equipments to join our team based in Milan.
This role, reporting hierarchically to the local Head of Vendor Performance Management (VPM) and functionally to the Head of Global Inspection, requires extensive international travel, with at least 50% of suppliers located worldwide. Candidates should expect to be on business trips for at least 3-4 days a week.

The Expeditor/Inspector is responsible for conducting inspection activities on materials to ensure compliance with contractual requirements during the execution of Purchase Orders, focusing on manufacturing quality.

Qualifications: High School Diploma
Languages: English - Fluent
Main skills:
- High School Diploma;
- Experience in quality control activities at workshops for Rotating Equipments;
- Strong mobility and leadership attitude;
- Analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Team spirit with a delivery/results-driven mindset;
- Knowledge of main Equipment in a plant and basic design concepts;
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
Nice to have:
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of other languages
- Qualification for Non-Destructive Examination level II or equivalent.
- Qualification for NACE level II or FROSIO level III or equivalent.
- Qualification of Welding Inspector.
- Qualification for ATEX/IECEx or equivalent.
- Any other qualification related to the Oil & Gas and Energy transition.

The Expeditor/Inspector is responsible for conducting inspection activities on materials to ensure compliance with contractual requirements during the execution of Purchase Orders, focusing on manufacturing quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct key inspection visits and produce VPM Project deliverables, including Inspection Reports, Pre-Inspection Meetings, Inspection Release Notes, Supplier Punch Lists, Non-Conformity Reports, Inspection Man-hours Follow-up Sheets and Manufacturing Data Record Book reviews;
- Report any quality or production issues identified in workshops beyond the Inspection & Test Plan;
- Monitor supplier progress by executing key Expediting VPM Project Deliverables, such as Hand-Over Meetings and Expediting Meetings;
- Highlight potential critical paths or events that might delay delivery dates to Vendor Performance Management Coordinators, request corrective actions from suppliers/internal stakeholders and ensure necessary follow-up;
- Conduct shop surveys for new supplier evaluations/qualifications as required;
- Supervise suppliers quality control activities and overall production schedules;
- Contribute to the preparation of supplier and Inspection Agencies and Supplier performance evaluations;
- Chair, check and approve VPM Project deliverables related to assignments, including Pre-Inspection Meeting Reports, Pre-Fabrication Meeting Reports, Expediting Reports and Inspection Release Notes;
- Actively monitor and report workload to the Resource Management team;
- Perform remote inspection activities as applicable;
