This role covers the Shell Malaysia Upstream COG SOV Assets in Sabah and will be facing the Frontline Hub Natural Team as dedicated ST IAP (Integrated Activity Planning) Planner & Integrated Scheduler. The assignment of the role to a specific hub and asset will be defined by the IAP Lead according to prevailing business requirements.

What you'll be doing
The main purposes of the role are:
- To develop and drive an optimized Short Term (90 Days) Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) and Integrated Schedule for the hub and asset (Malikai), optimizes the ST IAP and Schedule in such a way that business targets are met: HSSE (through deconflicting, clash management, minimizing exposure hours), Availability (optimizing Scheduled Deferment, WRFM), Cost (optimizing shared resources, competitive supply chain) and Capital Efficiency.
- To drive the ST Pre-IAP/actual IAP meeting to engage with various functional planners (Operations, Projects, Maintenance, Drilling, Wells, Engineering) to generate Monthly IAP plan
- To drive Weekly Scheduling Meeting to develop the Integrated Schedule for Malikai.
- To ensure that the ST IAP and Integrated Schedule fully incorporates appropriate leveling against available execution and operations support resource capacity, as well as bedding accommodations. This requires active integration of multiple stakeholders in the asset.
- To work in strong collaboration with Activity Owners, Work Preparers, Functional Planners, Supply Chain Planners and Schedulers to drive readiness of activities according to IAP criteria. Support execution cadence forums (e.g. Maintenance Task Force Steering Committee) in providing the IAP and Scheduling lens. Interface with all functions involved in the WPSE process to ensure scheduling is in accordance with the best practices and HSSE standards.
- To champion plan stability: coach the organization to adhere to proper planning and IAP big rules and leverage the IAP Change Request process to make safety- and value-based decisions on changes to the plan.
- To champion continuous improvement of the AMS- IAPS process and IAPS KPI Data analysis.
- Provide guidance and collaborate with all Functional Activity Planners in coming up with robust work scopes and duration required for IAP optimization.
- Drive Monthly ST IAP meeting chaired by Production Manager to seek approval of both Integrated Activity Planning (IAP), taking into account HSSE, operational constraints, production aspirations and etc. Subsequently generate ST IAP report to document all the key risks and opportunities and changes which will sign off by management.
- Fully leverage the Planning Toolset, specifically Primavera P6, to create the most optimized plan and schedule for the asset.
- Apply business acumen to enhance Decision Quality (DQ) for resolving any conflicts in the plan and provide options that are most beneficial to the business.
Additional tasks for this role include:
- Monitor and Report Progress: Regularly track and report the progress of the Integrated Activity Plan and Schedule, highlighting any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the schedule and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and safe execution of activities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of the IAP and schedule.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess performance metrics and generate reports that provide insights into schedule adherence, resource utilization, and overall efficiency.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on the use of planning tools and best practices in activity planning and scheduling.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve planning and scheduling processes, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from previous activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets related to planned activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Technology Integration: Stay updated with the latest planning and scheduling technologies and integrate them into the workflow to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address unforeseen events that may impact the schedule.
What you bring
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in planning and scheduling maintenance campaigns and turnarounds.
- Skilled in the use of Planning Toolset: Primavera P6 and Impress
- Experience or well verse in Integrated Activity Planning and Scheduling (IAPS) & Maintenance Experience Process Flow.
- Operations, Maintenance or engineering background
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to share knowledge within the team
