Emerson is currently seeking an Additive Manufacturing Customer Success Manager is Marshalltown, IA. In this role you will act as the internal account manager for all Additive Manufacturing (AM) customers. This includes Laser-Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) and 3D Emerson Engineered Mold (3DEEM) processes globally. An entrepreneurial approach and strong desire to help the program grow will be key. Primary responsibilities will be ensuring internal customer success during additive manufacturing adoption and project implementation. This role will support our Flow Controls business unit along with other internal Emerson businesses.

This role will have responsibility for increasing Additive Manufacturing (AM) business with internal customers and ensuring successful planning and communication both within the internal customer business units and the larger additive organization (technical and strategic). Additionally, this role will support the additive planning and management process by supporting the AM project funnel and associated demand plan, AM quoting, pricing and associated communications, AM project schedule, and all processes associated with the above. Key deliverables will include financial measures related to trade revenue and gross profit, project management related measures tied to product launched into additive operations, and customer success measures.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead Project Quoting, Component Pricing, and Other Customer Communications
  • Own the AM Project Gate Process
  • Support Customer Planning Associated with AM Projects
  • Interface with suppliers to help manage relationships, quality issues, and development activities
  • Manage Front-End Processes and Systems
  • Drive Financially Viable Project Volume
  • Develop A Prioritized Additive Manufacturing Project Funnel
  • Develop/Manage AM SOP's Demand Plan


Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Or Related Preferred) with 4 years experience or 6 years of industry experience in lieu of degree


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience with Laser Powder Bed Fusion, 3D Printed Sand Mold Technology, or Manufacturing Operations
  • Previous project or product management experience
  • Manufacturing operations or supply chain experience
