This position reports to

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. The work model for the role is onsite in ABB Bulgaria, Plovdiv location. This is a remote role contributing to Instrumentation and Analytical business lines in Process Automation business area located in Stonehouse, UK. The position requires regular travels to Stonehouse, UK. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation. • Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs. • Ensures confirmations are timely received from Suppliers and they provide a reliable planned receipt dates. Make sure confirmations are posted into the ERP to allow a precise input to production planning. Proactively follow-up with Supplier to anticipate potential delays. • Takes appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar position will be considered as an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (SAP will be considered as an advantage)
  • You are at ease communicating in English
  • Ability to handle multi tasks and should be eager to learn, flexible, open-minded and team-work oriented
  • Strong communication and organizing skills
  • Willingness to travel to UK
