Be part of a team thatapplies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative,cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, andtechnologies. You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for newproduct development as well as current products modification and improvementsbased on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for designand implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components, mature the product from concept through development, and into qualification
• Maintain technical document packages to support product validation
• Develop statistical stack-ups and transfer functions to ensure performance requirements are met
• Define and identify source-controlled and vendor-item components and work with suppliers to optimize performance and cost
• Build and test prototypes and development units, analyze results and create reports
• Align with sales and offering management, building industry knowledge, and proposing innovative solutions to customer challenges
• Perform tear-down analysis and identify root cause and corrective actions for product failures
• Become the technical expert and provide support to factory, sales, customers, and suppliers
• Determine technical feasibility of new business opportunities, write specifications, and provide project and product cost estimation
• Launch and independently manage smaller projects with limited support

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the jobposting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on businessneeds and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - $127,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but notlimited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's workexperience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and businessconsiderations.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering
