Wood is currently recruiting for a SHE Planner (Local National) to join its Iraq business unit focusing on managing budgets related to SHE planning activities aligned with client's annual WP&B on 5 days on 2 days off rotation.

This is a full-time onsite position in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Key Objectives

• Develop and manage budgets related to SHE planning activities align with client's annual WP&B
• Create and implement comprehensive planning strategies to achieve department goals and objectives.
• Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Collaborate with internal sections and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with planning processes.
• Work with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure adequate resources are available.
• Provide regular updates to management on the status of projects and planning initiatives.
• Evaluate and enhance planning processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Organize section heads for new contract preparation and current contract amendment, monitor and report the progress to SHE manager.
• Steward and manage Planning KPI's
• Participate in ALT meetings to steward Safety, Production, Budget and planning & Scheduling performance

Expected:

• Post-Secondary education or PMP/Trade Certification program - required
• 5 - 10 years - Worked in Planning/Scheduling position in SAP or Maximo - required

Skills:

• Excellent communications (oral & written) in English
• Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
• Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with third party contractors, business partners and local communities
