If you are a metrology and measurement expert, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking for a expert measurement professional to support our Persistent Sensing Team. This position will work with the team to Manage CMM operations for ACT India business. You will take part in evaluating requirements, specifications before we approve parts. You will also be responsible for collaborating with internal and external customers such as the SQE, Suppliers and Engineering.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Prepare CMM programs as required through CAD data and or prints for component parts and assemblies
- Performs first off Inspection, In-process & PDI Inspection, interacts with SQE and Suppliers on part performance and process capability
- Report creation and storage of records in line with quality policy
- Participate and assist in problem solving & analysis, Identify, research and conduct mis-measurement issues.
- Use micrometers, calipers, Bore gauges and various other measuring instruments.
- Ability to develop work instructions for CMM set-up and operation for various programs; Impart training to other colleagues on CMM Operation
- Develop improvements regarding quality processes and reducing inspection cycle time
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area (Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of CMM)

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 2 -5 years' experience in CMM and Standard Room
- Strong oral and written communication skills - Must have the ability to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
- To manage and ensure flow of job in such a way that the priorities are given due attention and the work is completed on time.
- To use create inspection programs based on drawings and 3D files and keep them up-to-date
- Good working knowledge required to improve utilization of CMM and its overall effectiveness by reducing cycle time and breakdowns
- Good In planning, collaborating with cross functional team
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Degree/Diploma in mechanical Engineering or any related or equivalent field
- Proficiency in Calypso (Zeiss) Programming, Basic Knowledge of Creo, CAD files (IGES & STEP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on experience in Drawing reading, GD&T, SPC, MSA
