Leading a HR Team of 20, you will be responsible for management of the Human Resources Function for all professional employees and hourly employees in the Rotating Parts and Compressor Airfoils Value Stream. RP&CA is comprised of 8 Plants and 2 JV's covering over 4700 employees. Primary responsibilities include executive coaching, employee relations, teaming, recruiting & staffing, organizational vitality, career development, mentoring, succession planning, compensation planning, performance appraisal and organizational communications.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the business leaders to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives; develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture and leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change
  • Act as an organizational & simplification champion who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners with clients to maximize team performance
  • Strategically partner with business leaders to design and implement the most effective global organizational structures and manage transitions
  • Provide timely, effective and direct coaching to business leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills
  • Provide strategic coaching to key talent in extended client group as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management
  • Lead leadership assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent
  • Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines mentoring, training, etc.
  • Strategically lead business and HR team through critical HR operating rhythms such as Talent Review, salary planning and performance management
  • With the support of the HR team, develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talent
  • Provide overall leadership to the HR team, delivering appropriate coaching, mentoring and development opportunities (including exposure to HR Business Partner skills and experiences), communicating proactively, and ensuring HR team engagement & retention


Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a variety of Human resource positions, both client and specialist based
  • Required to travel 30% of the time

  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others
  • Has had roles that grows breadth and depth of expertise in HR, providing professional or thought leadership.
  • Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization.
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions, process improvement
  • Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Master's degree in human resources, labor relations or business administration from an accredited college or university
