ProductionDrilling Operator duties will include, but not limited to the following:
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to department supervisor and Director of Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing for long periods of time is required.
Exertion of up to 35 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, and copiers. Use of small drill bits; dexterity required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.
3rd shift runs Monday - Friday from 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Training for first month will likely run from 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
- All equipment, tools and workspace in the Drilling Department should be cleaned, maintained, and used properly
- Follow Work Order/Job Sheets and posted procedures
- Travelers must be signed off, document in daily production log and scan traveler prior to move to next department
- Position panels on machine table, flush and aligned with tooling holes, start operation, and remove boards at the end of the cycle.
- Check and inspect parts after completion and check backerboard for shallow and missing holes
- Check tool sizes: replace dull or expired tools as required
- Obtain and put away drills in dull cabinet and mark drills that need to be re-sharpened
- Inspecta Combo X-ray Drill machine
- Flash rout Multilayer panels, clean Multiline holes on SPOTFACE and clean sharp edges on BEVELMATE
- Pinning panels on COMBI 22
- Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating difficulties
- Cleaning workshop area that may include dust particles
- Removing trash and debris that may include dust particles
- Able to speak, read and write in English
- Must attend work in a timely manner (on schedule); when unable to work on time, must call Attendance Line and supervisor
- No cell phone use while at workstation
- Use equipment safely
- Empty outside dust collector as per schedule
- Will need to work Third Shift schedule
